When many people think of Mazatlan, Mexico, they do not think that there are many beautiful spots. But, I just traveled to Mazatlan and believe it or not…I found a great spot! The Ramada Resort, “Los Sabalos” in Mazatlan is a gorgeous resort. It has mahogany lounge chairs which surround the pool and look out onto the entire beach. There are bright, vibrant plants which surround the entire hotel, pool and walkways. Located on Mexico’s pacific coast, the views truly are spectacular. It is also located centrally to all of the greatest restaurants and night clubs in Mazatlan. There is also access right onto the beach. Here is the website for prices, dates and any additional information you may have, http://www.lossabalos.com/site.html.  If you want, you can even walk down the beach, visit multiple hotels down the beach and find activities everywhere. There are dancers on the beach who perform movements to represent their Mexican culture. The next place that you must check out in Mazatlan is Joe’s Oyster Bar. Mazatlan is famous for their shrimp and Joe’s has some of the best shrimp meals of anywhere. It is located right next to the Ramada, so you can walk there. Also, the restaurant is all open on the beach, so its super casual… you don’t even need flip flops! They offer everything from burgers to oysters. They are famous for their shrimp tacos, which I would absolutely recommend! They have different specials everyday! Here is a website, full of reviews and where Joe’s Oyster Bar was rated in the “Top10 Best”- http://www.10best.com/Mazatlan,Mexico/Restaurants/Seafood/59151/Joe%7Cs_Oyster_Bar_Mazatlan/. There is loud dance music and lots of dancing and crazy activities such as volley ball tournaments. This is all taking place right in the restaurant, it is pretty crazy but it’s quite the authentic experience if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s open every single day, so there is no reason not to go! It is also known as one of the best night club spots in Mazatlan. So maybe, if you’re not in the mood for lunch… go for the fiesta at night! You will love it! Enjoy!
